How much does it cost to be prepared so that our products can get a TKDN certificate?

Is it true that the cost of TKDN certification is borne by the Ministry of Industry?

The Ministry of Industry has prepared the State Budget to assist companies in obtaining TKDN certification for free. In 2012, the Ministry of Industry has appointed PT. Surveyor Indonesia as the executor of this activity.

It should be noted, each company can only apply for TKDN certification for 2 (two) products. The cost for product certification for the third, fourth, etc., will be charged to the company (commercially applicable).

What documents need to be prepared by the company for the purposes of TKDN verification?

Among them are the Deed of Establishment of the Company, Company Registration Certificate, Production Result Report for the last one year, etc. More details can be seen in the Document List for the Need for TKDN Verification

What will the surveyors verify?

Production process, machines used, labor (direct and indirect), indirect factory costs (use of electricity, gas, telephone), and others.

How to solve the problem if there is a company whose TKDN value is different from the value stated in the TKDN certificate, because there is a possibility that after certification, the company will no longer produce, but will import products afterward?

In 2012, the Ministry of Industry will conduct monitoring in the form of an audit of the consistency of the use of domestic products against companies that have a valid TKDN certificate to prevent this. This activity is aimed at 70 (seventy) products.

What is the procedure for renewing the TKDN certificate if its validity period has expired?

The extension procedure is the same as at the time of the initial application. Companies can contact the Ministry of Industry or the two independent surveyor agencies that have been appointed.
